- Filter by Stats: Use the sidebar to narrow down schools by location, size, tuition costs, and test policies.

- Explore Profiles: Click on any college card to view deep insights into admission rates, detailed score distributions, and application requirements.
Methodology & Data Sources
Our data is meticulously sourced to ensure accuracy and reliability. We primarily rely on the Common Data Set (CDS), a collaborative initiative between publishers and the educational community to provide clear, standard data items.
Key data points such as acceptance rates, enrollment figures, and standardized test score ranges are directly extracted from the most recent official CDS reports published by each university. This ensures you are viewing the same data that colleges report to major publishers like US News and the College Board.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a "Test-Optional" policy?
A test-optional policy means that submitting SAT or ACT scores is not mandatory for admission. However, submitting strong scores can often still benefit your application, especially for merit aid consideration.
How accurate are the acceptance rates?
Acceptance rates are calculated based on the most recent Fall admission cycle data provided in the Common Data Set. Note that rates can vary significantly between Early Decision and Regular Decision cycles.
Does "In-State Tuition" apply to me?
In-state tuition is generally reserved for residents of the state where the public university is located. Out-of-state students and international students typically pay a higher rate, known as out-of-state tuition. Private universities usually charge the same tuition regardless of residency.
What does "Middle 50%" mean for test scores?
The "Middle 50%" range represents the scores between the 25th and 75th percentiles of admitted students. If your score is within or above this range, you are academically competitive for that school.
